Somber mood has engulfed Ngagaywa C village in Siaya sub-county after a man’s body was found dangling from the roof of his hut.
The body of the late Albert Oduor Odhiambo who was 25 years-old was found late in the evening by his cousin who had gone to look for a solar light.

As accounted on a police incident report, “It was established that the deceased was last seen by his father at around 1400hrs when he had gone to drink tea. His father came back from grazing at around 1800hrs. While watching news one of his cousin by the name Duncan Odhiambo went to the deceased house to pick a solar light and found his door closed from inside.”
It was then that he called out his name severally; however, there was no response.
“He tried to call him but he did not respond prompting him to climb the door and peep from the roof of the house and saw the deceased dangling from the roof. He called his father and mother who broke into the house. The body had no visible physical injury and no suicide note found,” stated the incident report.

The body has been taken to Siaya County Referral Mortuary awaiting post mortem.
