MIGORI: Migori County Assembly Speaker, Charles Owino Likowa, has been impeached on grounds of gross misconduct, underhand dealings, and mistreatment of the MCAs. Likowa, a seasoned politician who previously represented the larger Migori constituency as a lawmaker, was elected unanimously, defeating his competitor, advocate Isaac Aluochier, by a significant margin.

However, Likowa’s reputation took a severe hit when his private chats, in which he solicited nude photographs from a young woman, were leaked and circulated on the internet.
