Revealed, why Victoria Rubadiri is quitting Citizen TV.

Talented Citizen TV presenter Victoria Rubadiri is poised to make a significant career move, departing from Royal Media Services to join CNN as an African Correspondent.

Her planned exit comes at a time when local media houses are facing sharp competition from the Social media.

Ms. Rubadiri, who was honored with the prestigious 2020 BBC World Komla Dumor Award, has been instrumental in elevating the profile of the Maalim Juma Road-based station since her arrival six years ago.

Rubadiri holds a bachelor’s degree in Forestry from Masinde Muliro University and earned her Arts Broadcast Journalism degree in 2003 from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Before making her mark as a TV anchor, she ventured into public relations and even joined a lingala live band in New York State. Additionally, she served as a radio presenter at Capital FM in Nairobi.

Rubadiri’s transition to CNN reflects her remarkable journey and underscores her commitment to journalistic excellence on a global scale.
