KQ halts all flights to Kinshasa beginning April 30.

KQ Airline has suspended all flights to Kinshasa starting April 30, 2024, due to the detention of two employees by the Military Intelligence Unit.

The workers were arrested over missing customs documents related to cargo the airline was transporting.

Their phones were confiscated during the arrest, and they have been unable to contact anyone since April 19, 2024. Despite attempts to secure their release, they remain in detention.
