Retired Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) boss Gen Samson Mwathethe appears to be enjoying his retirement, as seen in a video where he sings with a live band at a wedding ceremony.

The video, posted on TikTok by Fikirini Jacobs, shows Gen Mwathethe having a good time with locals, free from state functions.

He was attending the wedding of his nephew, where The Roots Band performed. Gen Mwathethe joined in as they sang “Ndaya,” originally by Mpongo Love.

Alongside the video, Fikirini Jacobs commented, “Retired General Samson Mwathethe with The Roots Band at his nephew’s wedding. Really awesome.”
