Search for a child in ongoing in River Nyangores following an accident.

BOMET: The search for a child in River Nyangores is underway after a vehicle plunged into the river in Bomet County this morning.

Three people have been confirmed dead in the tragic accident. At the time of the incident, the vehicle was carrying four occupants, including one child who is still missing.

It is reported that the vehicle was hit by a lorry before plunging into the river at Silibwet.

Bomet Central Sub-county Police Commander, Musa Imammai, has confirmed the ongoing search efforts.

The bodies of the deceased have been transported to Bomet Sub-county Hospital for post-mortem examinations.
