Mob burn a vehicle suspected to have ferried stolen cows

GEM YALA: Police from Ndere Police post in Alego Usonga are currently in pursuit of suspects accused of stealing three cows from a village within Siaya County.

Prompt action was taken after members of the public intercepted a vehicle transporting the stolen cows and promptly alerted the authorities.

Police responded swiftly, leading to the recovery of the three animals. However, the occupants of the vehicle managed to evade capture, prompting an ongoing search by law enforcement officials.

Frustrated by the escape of the suspects, an angry mob resorted to setting the vehicle ablaze, reducing it to ashes. Despite the destruction of the vehicle, efforts to locate and apprehend the suspects continue.
