On Tuesday, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua opted for a Kenya Airways commercial flight to Mombasa.

His purpose is to officiate the International Scientific Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya, slated for Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Sarova Whitesands Hotel in Mombasa County.

The conference, which commenced on June 10, 2024, will extend its discussions until Friday, June 14.

It aims to delve into Kenya’s local pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, providing valuable insights into self-sufficiency efforts, healthcare implications, regulatory hurdles, and effective strategies for success.
