Erick Omondi posts his departed brother as Police reveal how he died

Comedian Erick Omondi is mourning the loss of his brother following a tragic road accident early this morning.

Taking to his Facebook page, he uploaded a parody of a Bongo song they had collaborated on years ago, which heavily criticized the country’s leadership.

The comedian posted, “Go well brother” accompanied by a broken heart emoji. According to a police incident report obtained by Kondele News, his brother was struck by a Mitsubishi vehicle while crossing to the CBD.

“A Mitsubishi m/bus foward SACCO driven by one Stephen Maina from Kayole directions heading towards the CBD and a motorcycle from the opposite side on wrong side (consolidated bank) collided head-on and as a result, the pillion passenger namely Fredrick Odhiambo Omondi died on the spot,” stated the report.

The rider suffered serious multiple injuries on both right legs and fractures on both hands. He was rushed to Mama Lucy hospital for treatment and body of the deceased is lying at the said hospital mortuary pending postmortem
