Our account was hacked, #OccupyMoH is still on, KMPDU Secretary Davji Atellah

KMPDU boss Davji Atella has denied reports that the planned occupation of Ministry of Health offices in Nairobi has been canceled.

Taking to his X handle, Dr. Atella asserted that the message claiming the cancellation was disseminated by a hacker who gained unauthorized access to his account.

He urged protestors to remain prepared and affirmed the necessity of occupying the MoH offices, emphasizing that it is crucial for reforming the country’s overstretched healthcare system.

“Reports circulating to the effect that #OccupyMoH has been suspended is false. The union handle has been compromised and we are trying our best to gain control of it and clean. We must overhaul the system including those that have hacked the union handles. We remain strong. We remain focused,” read the tweet.

The Occupy MoH is an initiative meant to push the ministry of health to hire the medical interns at the rates earlier agreed.
