Two mysterious deaths in Bondo; Police investigating

Police in Bondo and investigating two cases of death at different places within the sub-county.

According to reports files at the Bondo Police station, the first incident is suspected to have been a suicide case; the deceased Julius Oluoch Ondungo 57, who allegedly hanged himself with a sisal rope.

“Police officers visited the scene at Ndunya village Barkowino location, about 4kms east of the station and found lifeless body of Julius Oluoch Ondungo aged 57 years dangling from the roof purine with a sisal rope tied round his neck  in his rented shop,” the police said.

The body has since been taken to Bondo sub-county hospital mortuary awaiting post mortem examination.

Still in Bondo sub-county, police have launched investigations into the sudden death of one George Amoth Otieno 58.

The police visited the scene at Kamenya village where they found the dceased with no visible injuries on the surface.

“The police visited the scene at Kamenga shopping Center and found lifeless body of George Amoth Otieno aged 58 years with no physical injuries lying on the floor inside his bedroom of his house. The deceased was a TSC teacher at Magawa Primary School. The body moved to Bondo sub-county hospital morgue awaiting postmortem,” said the police officers in their report.
