Pain as Ezra Kabuga Kihara, nominated MCA, is laid to rest in Murang’a

Ezra Kabuga Kihara, a nominated MCA in Kiambu County Assembly was yesterday laid to rest at their rural home in Gaturi, Murang’a County.

The burial was attended by leaders from both Murang’a and Kiambu counties.

Kiambu Governor Kimani Wa Matangi described the deceased lawmaker as a dedicated leader who would have scaled high political heights.

“This young man had a promising political future. As a nominated MCA in Kiambu, he helped in performing the roles diligently and for sure the County Assembly of Kiambu will miss great services,” said Dr Wamatangi with voice full of emotional pain.

Several other MCAs led by the host Gathee wa Njeri showered the late young leader with glowing tributes.

“Rest in peace Hon Ezra Kabuga kihara (Nominated MCA Kiambu county) . We prayed and Celebrated his life today during his send off Mass at Kiambugi, Gaturi Ward, Kiharu Muranga county. Huruka thayu brother,” Wa Njeri posted on his Facebook page.

The deceased lawmaker met his untimely demise after his vehicle rammed onto the rear of an Isuzu track.

“On reaching at the location of the accident the driver of the Forester rammed onto the rear of Isuzu FRR lorry,” stated the police incident report recorded at Juja Police station.

As a result, the driver of the Subaru forester died on the spot.
