Police gun down two robbery suspects in Kilimani

Kilimani police officers on patrol duties along Tigoni Road, near Naivas Supermarket, fatally wounded two robbers in a shootout this morning.

The officers recovered a Mini Revolver, a panga, mobile phones, and a motorcycle with registration number KMGB 965W.

The incident unfolded when the officers encountered a gang of three robbers in the act, leading to a gunfight that left two gang members dead, while the third escaped with gunshot wounds.

The Kilimani police officers’ swift action led to the recovery of stolen valuables, positively identified by two victims of the robbery.

Crime scene detectives processed the scene, and a search is underway for the escaped robber.

In response to this incident, law enforcement agencies within Kilimani sub-county have intensified patrols to ensure public safety.

The Kilimani police station urges community members to collaborate with them to maintain a safer and more secure environment.
