Police arrest two suspects in numerous Kondele break ins and theft

Kondele: Following numerous reports of break-ins and theft of household items in Kondele area of Kisumu County, police have arrested two suspects.

The suspects are believed to be recipients and marketers of stolen valuables.

Fredrick Oduor Obonyo, 36, and his accomplice Eric Wesonga Wamere were arrested in an intelligence-led operation at Kenya-RE estate in Lolwe.

From their houses, police recovered several suspected stolen properties: three smart TVs: Bruhm (55″), LG (50″), and Hisense (50″), two sound systems that is Sony and Rhm, including box speakers, Several DSTV recorders, three mobile phones: iPhone, Huawei, and Infinix.

An inventory of the recovered items has been taken. The suspects have been booked at Kondele Police Station, and identification of the items by victims is ongoing.
