KondeleGrapevine: Stingy cabinet member in Siaya chases director out of the car

Siaya: Workers, leaders, and members of the public in Siaya County are expressing shock over the conduct of a certain county cabinet member towards fellow senior officials.

According to a source within the county government, this cabinet member recently caused a scene by publicly ejecting a director from a government vehicle assigned to the department of the official in question.

The incident unfolded when the director, who is junior to the cabinet member, requested to be accommodated in the vehicle assigned to the cabinet member.

“Upon being sent out of the new vehicle, the director simply walked and sought another vehicle,” said Kondele News mole who is privy to the matters within corridors of power

The request was denied, and the director was forced to find alternative transportation.

The cabinet member made it clear that the vehicle was exclusively for their use, accommodating only the cabinet member and the driver.

The same cabinet member reportedly repeated this behavior at an official function in Kisumu, denying a senior official the use of the vehicle and forcing the senior official to seek other means of transportation.

“Imagine our boss wanted to use the vehicle to another destination within Kisumu city, but he was not allowed, forcing him to seek alternative transportation,” the source revealed.

This conduct has sparked outrage and raised concerns about the working environment and the respect among officials within the Siaya County government
