Kariobangi North MCA, Joel Munuve, dies in Nairobi

NAIROBI: Kariobangi North Member of County Assembly (MCA) Joel Munuve has passed away. The first-term legislator collapsed and was immediately taken to AAR Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Speaker of the Nairobi County Assembly, Kennedy Ng’ondi, described the independent MCA as a dedicated leader who diligently served his constituents and the assembly.

“The passing of Mr Munuve is a significant loss for the Nairobi Assembly and his family. As the Speaker, I extend my deepest condolences to his family and friends,” stated Mr Ng’ondi.

He further noted, “Mr Munuve was a committed member of the assembly with ambitious plans for his constituents and the country as a whole.”

The late Mr. Munuve, known for his multilingual abilities, was a popular figure in Kariobangi North, where he served with great dedication.

He was a frequent guest on Ramogi TV and his Kamba language radio station. Just two weeks ago, he appeared on “Ratil,” a local Luo program hosted by Odira Bati, where he demonstrated fluency in Dholuo, among other local languages.
