MOYALE: Two suspects have been apprehended and a cache of illegal items, including two AK-47 rifles and 34 kilograms of bhang, seized in a multi-agency operation in Moyale.

The operation in the Butiye area led to the arrest of Adan Jilo. At his residence, authorities recovered an AK-47 rifle, three rounds of 7.62 x 39mm ammunition, one magazine, and 16 kilograms of Cannabis sativa.

In a concurrent operation in the Odda area, Toto Issack Dika was also arrested. A search of her home yielded another AK-47 rifle, two rounds of 7.62 x 39mm ammunition, one magazine, and 18 kilograms of Cannabis sativa.

Both suspects and the recovered contraband have been taken to Moyale Police Station for processing before their court appearance.
