Tragedy at a Narok School: Student Found Dead, Community Demands Justice

NAROK ;Grief and shock have engulfed Narok Adventist Primary and Junior Secondary School following the tragic death of a 14-year-old Grade Nine pupil, who was found dead under unclear circumstances on Saturday night.

According to a police report, the young boy was discovered in his bed by fellow students, bleeding heavily from a deep cut on his neck.

The children immediately alerted a school matron, who rushed the boy to Narok Referral Hospital. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

Preliminary investigations by police suggest the boy may have been attacked elsewhere before returning to his dormitory.

Detectives found a blood-smeared bench outside the building, large traces of blood in the boys’ toilet, and drops of blood near the clothesline.

Police have arrested a security guard in connection with the incident, who is expected to assist detectives with the ongoing investigation.

The shocking incident has ignited outrage in the surrounding community. Enraged residents stormed the school compound, setting one dormitory ablaze before police officers arrived to contain the situation and prevent further destruction.

The community is in disbelief over the death of the popular student, who was described by neighbors and friends as a “lively, humble, and obedient child.”
