I have not seen her for two years, cries the mother of the Immelder Khalenye who was a victim of Kware killings

Josephine Adisa, the mother of Immelder Khalenya, the alleged wife of the prime suspect in the Kware murder case, has expressed deep sorrow over her daughter’s death, remembering her as a young woman of integrity.

Adisa, who hadn’t seen her daughter since 2021, revealed she was unaware of Khalenya’s demise until recently. Speaking to journalists after recording a statement at at the DCI offices, she shared her confusion and disbelief over the news.

“I learned about my daughter’s death two years after she disappeared from my life. She stopped attending school and moved away from home. She went silent on social media, and no one saw her until news of her murder surfaced,” Adisa recounted.

At the time of receiving the devastating call about her daughter’s murder, Adisa was working at Fedha Estate, grappling with the sudden loss and the unanswered questions surrounding Khalenya’s life before her tragic end.

According to a report by Nation.Africa, the mother had gone to Kware dumpsite when the DCI called her to go and record statement.

Meanwhile, in a regretful turn of events, the DCI has issued an apology to Jairus Onkundi for mistakenly implicating him as one of the primary suspects in the Kware murder case.
