Nyadorera man in pain after a suspected relative burned his house over land dispute

In the village of Nyadorera, Siaya County, a man is facing significant losses after an arsonist set his house ablaze yesterday.

Benard Oduor Omondi reported the incident to the Nyadorera police station, detailing the destruction of approximately Sh20,000 worth of property.

“Last night, around 2000 hours, his grass-thatched house caught fire and was completely destroyed,” stated a police incident report seen by Kondele News. “The cause of the fire is yet to be established.”

Benard suspects that Alice Atieno, who had previously threatened to burn his house following a land dispute, might be behind the arson. The police are currently investigating the incident to uncover the truth.
