Evans Kapkea, Tembelio MCA, nominated Deputy Governor for Uasin Gishu

Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii has nominated Tembelio Ward MCA Evans Kapkea as the new deputy governor, just three days after the previous deputy governor, John Barorot, resigned from the position.

Eng Barorot resigned after speculations of misunderstanding between him and his boss Jonathan Bii.

According to a report by a Kenyan paper, the Star Newspaper earlier, Barorot dismissed the resignation rumors as baseless but did not provide an explanation for his absence from the significant event.

There had been ongoing speculation regarding his working relationship with Governor Bii. However, two weeks ago at a prayer meeting held at the county headquarters, Governor Bii had mentioned that Barorot was on leave.
