Nomiya church happy with Eliud Owalo’s new position

The leadership of Nomiya Church has expressed heartfelt gratitude to President William Ruto for reappointing former ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo to a key role in his Kenya Kwanza government.

Mr. Owalo, who recently assumed the position of Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Performance and Delivery Management, has been warmly welcomed back by the church, particularly by Bishop Okech Oluga of the Nomiya Church Ogwedhi Diocese in Rarieda sub-county.

Bishop Oluga praised President Ruto for not only recognizing the talents of their own Eliud Owalo but also for listening to the voices of the Kenyan people.

He lauded the President’s decision to reorganize his administration and establish a broad-based government, which, according to him, has played a crucial role in restoring peace in the country.

These sentiments were echoed by Pastor George Ochieng’ of Asino Parish, also under Ogwedhi Diocese, who commended President Ruto for reconsidering their son and devoted church member, Eliud Owalo, for such an influential position.

Pastor Ochieng’ urged his fellow church leaders to continue praying for peace across Kenya and encouraged the people of Luo Nyanza to stand behind their sons and daughters currently serving in the government.

The church leaders shared their thoughts during a meeting at Asino Parish in Asembo, Rarieda sub-county, where the atmosphere was one of unity, hope, and optimism for the future.
