Former Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha has taken a lower profile following her non-reappointment to the cabinet.

Social media images show Ms. Nakhumicha engaging in farming activities in her home county of Trans Nzoia.

Appointed as the Health CS when the Kenya Kwanza government took power in 2022, she served for two years until the president disbanded the cabinet.

Now seen harvesting maize, Ms. Nakhumicha appears to have achieved a bumper harvest.

Prior to her cabinet appointment, she ran for the Trans Nzoia Woman Representative seat on a UDA ticket but lost to the current officeholder.
