Police in Muhoroni are holding a KCSE candidate who allegedly assaulted and threatened to kill a fellow candidate at Menara Accademy Secondary School in Muhoroni.
Stephen Biko Alang’o on November 16 allegedly assaulted Derick Omondi.
Armed with a knife, the 19-year-old threatened to kill Derick .
The police swiftly responded, arresting Bikon and recovering a knife from his trouser pocket. Police also recovered other crude weapons apart from the knife, a hack saw frame and a hammer was also discovered from under the suspect’s pillow.
Two grams of cannabis sativa was also recovered from his pocket.
Biko was escorted to Muhoroni police post where he will be charged with assault, threatening to kill and possession of hard drugs.
The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) which officially began in October 22 comes to an end on Friday , November 22 with the largest number of candidates ever recorded, 965, 501 students.
