Yamumbi estate in the outskirts of Eldoret of Eldoret town is mourning the tragic death of three children who perished in a house fire.

The children aged between 1 – 8 years were alone in the house when the tragedy struck.

Kapseret OCPD Zephania Kamuren confirmed the Wednesday morning incident that claimed the lives of the children.

Unfortunately, efforts to rescue the children proved futile.

Photos from the incident showed the damage caused by the inferno that reduced the mud house to ashes.
