Police in Mathioya, Muranga County are looking for an ex-convict suspected to have murdered two people by slashing them using sharp object.
The heinous killing of the two; Bernard Mahiu and Macharia Kamau left Chui village in shock after the man believed to have reformed did exactly what took him to jail years ago.
Father of one of deceased, Mahiu, Ndung’u Maina said they heard people shouting and calling for help.
“When we reached the scene I saw two bodies, I was shocked by the sight of the two bodies. They had deep cuts on the forehead; their attacker was vicious that I could not recognize my son.”
The brother of one of the deceased John Gitau called on the police to ransack the entire region and fish him out.
“We fear for our lives. The government must do something. It is too much to bear, he should be arrested because we don’t know what he will do next”
