Dero FC humiliated at home, in a match marred with indiscipline from players.

Asembo Combined United’s early first-half goal against hosts Dero FC at Nyilima pitch secured a decisive three points for the visitors in the County league. Despite the fervent support from their multitude of fans and the advantage of playing on home turf, the hosts failed to capitalize on their skills and experience.

Although possession was evenly split between the two teams, instances of indiscipline marred the game, with players from both sides displaying negative behavior towards the female center referee. Match commissar Tom Orwa had to intervene on several occasions to restore order and calm the players.

“Discipline is essential for the progress of teams and the advancement of players in this competitive sport, particularly in their interactions with match officials,” remarked Mr. Orwa in an interview with Kondele News.
