Four content creators arrested for mocking police in Kilifi.

Police in Kilifi have apprehended the four content creators who ridiculed law enforcement in a video posted on TikTok.

After hours of pursuit, the individuals were apprehended and are now awaiting their court appearance.

Earlier, a police incident report revealed that an unidentified individual approached a canteen adjacent to the Kilifi Police station seeking permission to film videos, but their request was denied.

The Kilifi North Sub-County Police commander disclosed that the group, ranging from 27 years old to a minor, will be held accountable for their mockery of police officers.

The incident unfolded as one of the creators orchestrated a staged altercation outside the police station, later sharing it on TikTok under the handle @Shabir_Shirazzy, accompanied by the caption “WEZI MBELE YA POLICE STATION”

Authorities have emphasized that the dissemination of this video has tarnished the reputation of the police force.
