In a sad turn of events, a family in Bondo sub county is grieving the demise of their daughter who was abducted and killed by a man who sexually assaulted her earlier.

The suspect identified as George Adede 42, a teacher within Bondo sub county is alleged to have abducted and killed the minor who was a key witness in his defilement case which is ongoing; he had allegedly defiled her, she was 16 years.

The girl went missing sometimes in the month of March, and Adede was the key suspect.

According to Siaya County Commander Cleti Kimaiyo, the suspect, who had been missing, was seen somewhere in Ng’iya, at a home belonging to a retired teacher within Sigana A village in Alego Usonga sub-county.

After he was arrested, he led the police officers to his home in Nyang’oma Division in Bondo sub-county to a compound which had five unoccupied buildings.

The houses were ramshackle, mud -walled houses. Just behind the houses, next to the fence, he led the police to where he had dumped the body of the minor.

According to the county police boss, the gruesome murder of the minor who was the main witness and the victim was to end the defilement case and evade justice.
