Governor George Natembeya sets standard after distributing cooking gas to locals

Cherangany: Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has elevated service delivery by distributing cooking gas cylinders to the women of Cherangany, a move aimed at improving their livelihoods and reducing reliance on wood fuel for cooking.

The initiative, dubbed “Ondoa Moshi,” not only seeks to empower women but also aims to streamline the cooking process.

Mr. Natembeya, a seasoned administrator, has garnered media attention for his efforts to challenge the status quo.

His TAWE movement, gaining momentum in Western Kenya, has become a formidable force. UDA Secretary-General Cleophas Malala recently expressed support for Mr. Natembeya’s push for leadership reform in Western Kenya.

Governor Natembeya’s TAWE campaigns have drawn criticism from Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula and his supporters in the Western region, particularly in Bungoma County.
