Heavily pregnant Akorino Woman joins protests in Nairobi

A beautiful Akorino content creator and businesswoman Carey Priscilla has joined fellow Kenyans in protesting against the controversial Finance Bill 2024.

Despite being heavily pregnant with her third child with her partner Benson Muriu, Priscilla was spotted in Nairobi, posing with placards during the demonstration.

She marched through the streets with placards bearing messages “Overtaxation = Finance Bill 2024,” listing taxes on bread, cancer treatment, and menstrual products among others.

The other placard had message, “Sasa tusinyeshe?

Priscilla expressed her vehement opposition to the bill, stating, “Tax policies should never excessively burden ordinary citizens, particularly those in vulnerable communities already grappling with inflation and low wages!”
