Outrage as Police lob teargas at Coast Girls High School compound

Members of the public expressed outrage after  police officers quelling demonstrators in Mombasa lobbed teargas canister inside Coast Grls High School.

In a video that trended on Social media, students dressed in buibui are seen moving elter skelter in search for water to reduce the pain caused by the gas.

Kenyans on Social media expressed disgust in the manner the law enforcement officers were inconsiderate when lobbing teargas carnisters.

After a successful demonstrations in Nairobi yesterday, demonstrators shifted to Mombasa to repeat the yesterday’s events.

The Mombasa demonstration was dabbed “Occupy Mombasa”.

The motive of demonstrations is to push the government to reject the Finance Bill 2024.
