Two police officers from Kibii Police Station were patrolling when they received intelligence about a suspect.

They intercepted a motorbike near Kibii Primary School and attempted to arrest the suspect.

According to police statements, the situation turned violent as the rider resisted arrest. The confrontation intensified when more than 20 motorbike riders from Kimunyu Trading Center arrived at the scene, trying to intervene and free the suspect.

In the ensuing clash, the police officers sustained injuries and were rushed to Impact Hospital in Murram Center for treatment.
