Police in Nairobi are investigating the death of a police officer from Lang’ata Police Station, who was found stabbed to death on the roadside.

Reports indicate that night guards in the vicinity of Ngei Phase II along Kitengela Lane discovered the body of Corporal Mark Ayabei lying on the ground.

Upon closer inspection, they found that he had sustained two fresh stab wounds to his chest. The guards immediately alerted the authorities upon making the discovery.

According to police reports, there were no witnesses to the incident apart from the night guards who found the body.

The deceased officer’s body has been transported to Umash funeral home pending a post-mortem examination.
