Gatundu North Member of Parliament Kururia Njoroge encountered a confrontational Gen Z member while driving through the CBD in his luxurious new model Land Rover Discovery.
The young woman recognized him and launched into a verbal tirade, expressing her disapproval directly.
“Mhesh, what do you have to say for yourself after betraying us? (she was referring to voting for the withdrawn Finance Bill 2024).
Before the lawmaker could respond she picked up again, “Shame on you, utarudi nyumbani”. She added.
The Member of Parliament humbly took another direction in order to avoid further verbal altercation with the young lady who was on a motor cycle.
The Members of Parliament who voted in favor of the withdrawn policy have been facing public reproach for their stance, with the majority considering them traitors.
