Miguna Miguna claims President Ruto pays Raila Odinga Sh200million monthly

Lawyer Miguna Miguna, known for his outspoken criticism of Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga, has dismissed claims that he refrained from participating in the anti-Finance Bill 2024 protests due to requests from Gen Zs to stay silent.

Contrarily, Miguna asserts that Odinga has betrayed Kenyans by aligning with the regime.

He alleges Odinga receives a monthly salary of Sh200 million to support President William Ruto. According to Miguna, Odinga’s silence is aimed at securing his candidacy submission to the AUC (African Union Commission).

At the burial of Luo Council of Elders organizing secretary Owino Nyadi, Odinga explained his silence, attributing it to advice from young people to allow them to take charge.

Miguna challenged this explanation, accusing Odinga of waiting for Ruto to submit his candidacy for the AUC chairmanship.

Based in Ontario, Canada, Miguna believes the ongoing efforts of Gen Zs will succeed once President Ruto resigns from office.

Towards 2022 elections when Mr Odinga and President Ruto were neck to in the presidential contest, Mr Miguna threw his full support behind Ruto.
