Shock as a construction worker dies in his sleep in Siaya

Police in Ugenya are currently investigating the sudden death of a 51-year-old man, identified as Jonathan Ngure Ndungu, who passed away today under unclear circumstances.

Jonathan, a construction worker at a site in Ramunde, was found deceased in his house.

Authorities were alerted to the incident and promptly visited the scene. According to a police incident report, “It was reported that there was a construction worker who was lying unresponsive inside a house he was staying in. Police officers visited the scene in Ramunde sub-location, North East Ugenya location, and found the body of Jonathan Ngure Ndungu, aged 51 years, lying dead on the bed on his back with no visible physical injuries.”

Initial investigations suggest that Jonathan had informed his colleagues that he was feeling unwell and requested permission to rest. It was later discovered that he had passed away in his sleep.

The police investigation is ongoing as they seek to ascertain the exact cause of Jonathan Ngure Ndungu’s sudden death.
