I am not boarding thank you, DAP leader Eugene Wamalwa

Just hours after Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua distanced herself from the dialogue initiative proposed by ODM leader Raila Odinga and President William Ruto, DAP-K Party leader Eugene Wamalwa has also rejected the call for dialogue.

In a statement posted on the DAP-K party’s X handle, Wamalwa echoed sentiments from Generation Z, emphasizing that action, not mere dialogue forums, is what the youth demand.

He criticized the potential outcome of such dialogues, suggesting they often result in discussions that benefit a select few politicians without real change.

Highlighting Kenya’s history of shelving reports and recommendations without implementation, Wamalwa emphasized that his party will not participate in what he views as perpetuating the status quo.

Generation Z, known for their activism and insistence on systemic change, has vehemently opposed the dialogue initiative, preferring sustained protests until the government demonstrates a commitment to improving governance.

Furthermore, other key figures within the Azimio La Umoja Coalition; Jeremiah Kioni of Jubilee have distanced themselves from Raila Odinga’s stance.

Martha Karua, Azimio’s Deputy Presidential candidate, criticized the dialogue plans, arguing that they could derail the reform agenda that Generation Z is advocating for.
