Drama as police joins Gen Zs in demonstration outside senate

In Nairobi, tension flared outside the Senate as police detained an unexpected protester: Police Constable Jackson Kuria Kihara, an officer from Kamiti Medium Prison.

Gripping a bold placard emblazoned with the defiant message, “WE WANT JUSTICE AND NOT YOUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES,” Kihara stood his ground at the parliamentary gates.

Swift action by alert sleuths ensured Kihara’s arrest, preventing any disruption to the solemn proceedings inside the Senate.

As whispers of intrigue spread through the corridors of power, questions arose about the motivations behind Kihara’s unprecedented act of defiance.

“The officer in charge Kamiti Medium Prison was contacted and he confirmed the officer works under his command and is currently facing disciplinary proceedings .He has been placed in custody for the offence of participating in unlawful assembly,” read the incident report.
