Fight over a woman leaves one dead in Bondo

Police in Bondo have intensified their search for a couple suspected of a brutal murder along the Nango-Sirongo road.

The victim, Patrick Onyango, aged 32 and a resident of Alego Usonga, met his tragic end after a heated confrontation with Alfred Ouma.

Reports from Bondo police indicate that Patrick had discovered his girlfriend, Winnie Osare, was involved with Alfred Ouma outside their relationship.

Determined to confront them, Patrick ventured to Alfred’s residence during the night. However, what began as a confrontation quickly escalated into a violent altercation.

“Alfred attacked him with a machete in his compound, inflicting fatal injuries,” stated the police report filed at Bondo Police Station.

Initial examinations of the deceased’s body revealed severe wounds, including deep cuts to his head, arms, and abdomen.

Authorities are actively pursuing Alfred Ouma and Winnie Osare, urging anyone with information on their whereabouts to come forward. The incident has shocked the community of Bondo, prompting calls for justice and safety precautions in relationships.
