Shock as a retired police officer kills wife and commits suicide

In a startling turn of events in Chemanel Village, Kuresoi South, Nakuru County, a retired senior police officer reportedly took a devastating turn on Monday.

Joel Kiptanui Langat, once a respected OCPD in Nakuru, allegedly shot his wife, Sarah Chepkemoi Tesot, in a tragic incident that has left the community reeling.

Jeremiah Leariwala, the Kuresoi South police commander, confirmed the grim details, revealing that the incident culminated in Mr. Langat turning turning the firearm on himself.

Despite efforts to save him, Mr. Langat tragically succumbed to his injuries while being treated at St. Joseph Hospital in Molo Subcounty.

The shocking nature of the incident has prompted an intensive investigation by authorities into the circumstances leading up to the fatal shooting.
