Bishop Johanna, whose controversial actions made headlines earlier this year, has passed away.

The cleric, born Danson Gichuhi, died on Thursday night after a prolonged illness. He was receiving treatment at Nakuru Level Five Hospital when he passed away.

Bishop Johanna gained notoriety when a video of him using anointing oil on a woman’s bosom went viral.

The footage, which depicted him applying the oil during a deliverance session, sparked significant controversy and mixed reactions online.
