A heart-wrenching events unfolded early Saturday morning, August 17, police have launched a full-scale investigation following a tragic incident at N’bar Club in Ongata Rongai.
The incident unfolded when a Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) ranger, identified as Mohamed Daud, allegedly opened fire inside the nightclub, resulting in the death of a man named Stanley Kuria.
According to a report filed at Ongata Rongai Police Station, the drama began when Daud, clad in his KWS uniform, stormed into the Tumaini-area club on Mugis Road.
Eyewitnesses describe a chaotic scene as the ranger abruptly ordered the club to shut down.
He then commanded everyone inside to lie down and cover their faces. In a disturbing escalation, Daud reportedly shot Stanley Kuria three times, targeting his back and head.
The police report details a chilling scene: “He proceeded to shoot one person three times in the back and on the head and directed that everyone remain in that position till morning.”
