How Collins Jumaisi, Kware murder suspect, and 12 other escaped from prison

Thirteen inmates escaped from Gigiri Police Station this morning at 3:00 AM. Among them is Collins Jumaisi, the suspect in the Kware murder case.

The group also included 12 Eritrean nationals, with two other Eritreans choosing to remain behind as the others fled.

Nairobi County Police Commander Adamson Bungei has confirmed the incident and further said the police have launched a manhunt for the escapees.

“The police have launched a man hunt for the thirteen escapees who broke out of custody this morning,” said the County Police boss.
