Pain as Kericho accident claims lives

KERICHO: Several people are feared dead after a road accident involving a public service vehicle (PSV) and a trailer in Kericho County.

The accident occurred around 1:30 PM, and police have confirmed that one man died on the spot.

According to the police, the accident happened when the driver of the trailer, coming from Kipsitet General, lost control at Kisumu Ndogo.

The trailer then veered off its lane and collided with a Toyota matatu, resulting in the immediate death of one man.

“As a result of the impact, several passengers are feared dead. More information will follow as soon as we remove the matatu to confirm whether there are bodies trapped,” police reported.
