BONDO: Bondo sub county hospital mortuary attendant in police custody over claims of indecent sexual acts on male students.

He will spend the weekend in the cells over claims  of doing the unthinkable on two students on attachment at the facility.

The suspect was arrested on Friday by officers from Bondo police station after two students who were on attachment launched complaints against him to the hospital administration.

According to Bondo DCIO Reuben Onchoka who confirmed the arrest, the two students whose names have been witheld, recorded statements at the police station and underwent medical examination to confirm that they had  been subjected to unnatural act.

Mr Onchoka revealed that the suspect, will be  taken to court on Monday after the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution approved the charges of Committing Unnatural act, abuse of Office and deliberate transmission of a life threatening disease.

When contacted to comment on the matter Bondo sub county  hospital medical superintendent Dr Evans Ogoti confirmed that the administration was aware of what transpired at the mortuary unit but declined to give further details on the on matter .
