Police arrest 50 members of notorious Panga Boys gang in Mombasa

Police officers from Kadzandani Police Station in Mombasa have arrested 50 suspected gang members belonging to the notorious ‘Panga Boys’ gang.

The gang has been terrorizing people, stealing, killing, and maiming many victims.

The ‘Panga Boys’ mainly operate in Nyali, targeting business people within Nyali and surrounding areas.

In an organized operation, officers patrolled on foot in the early hours of Friday night. The gang fell into the net laid by police from Kadzandani and Mombasa.

“Officers from this command, reinforced by the Mombasa county team, were deployed on foot patrol in hotspot areas. Their mission was to flush out the criminals (Panga Boys). The operation was successful as officers managed to arrest 50 suspects, who were booked at Kadzandani Police Station,” read a police incident report seen by Kondele News.

The suspects will be arraigned in court on Monday.
