Four Feared Dead in Muhoroni Crash Involving Nyaugenya Bus and Truck

Four people are feared dead after a Nairobi-bound Nyaugenya bus collided head-on with a truck at Kambi Awendo in Muhoroni, Kisumu County.

Eyewitnesses reported that the bus, which was traveling from Luanda Kotieno in Rarieda Sub-County, Siaya, was ascending a lane when it crashed into the oncoming truck.

Emergency responders retrieved four bodies from the wreckage, while several injured passengers were rushed to various health facilities for treatment.

The accident adds to growing concerns over Nyaugenya buses, which have faced criticism for reckless driving.

Earlier this year, another Nyaugenya bus was involved in a fatal crash at Naya in Rarieda, killing three people on the spot.

Authorities have launched investigations into the latest crash as road safety concerns surrounding the bus company intensify.
