Adress me respectfully because I founded ODM, Ruto tells Sifuna

President William Ruto criticized ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna for his remarks, during the burial of Raila Odinga’s bodyguard, George Oduor, in Ndori.

Dr Ruto, speaking last at the event, cautioned Sifuna to maintain decorum and respect, reminding him of his own founding membership in the ODM party.

“I want to tell Senator Sifuna to be careful when talking to me because I am a founder member of ODM. If you continue that way, I will be forced to call for a meeting of the founders of the party,” Ruto stated.

He further warned that such a meeting could lead to disciplinary action against Sifuna. Ruto’s comments were in response to Sifuna’s statements regarding Butere Girls’ School.

The two leaders were among hundreds of mourners who turned up to pay last respect to Mr Oduor who had served Mr Odinga for three decades.
