The media fraternity is mourning the loss of one of their own, Sylus Apollo, who passed away on April 10 following a tragic road accident.

A dedicated journalist known for his sharp insight and unwavering professionalism, Apollo graduated from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology in 2013.

He began his career at the Nation Media Group’s Kisumu Bureau before later being transferred to Nairobi; he later left the Kimathi Street based media house to pursue other professional interests.

His untimely death has left a deep void among colleagues, who remember him as a dependable and compassionate professional—always willing to lend a helping hand, both professionally and personally.
